Utilizing a high-strength composite material core and lightweight aluminum top and bottom plates, the Havis is easily configured to allow for expansion that includes an external power supplly, a fully ruggedized Ethernet hub and a Chargeguard intelligent shut down timer, making the UT-X a fully functional docking station. More important is the ease in which the UT-X can be installed on existing mobile computing mounts or used with a Havis mounting solution designed for most cars and trucks.
